My Biography

For as long as I can remember I have  always been different. Not only different as a child but as a person. I never quite understood it though. I was a great friend, good person to talk to, great social skills, and excellent communication skills. I never understood how my mind worked I am an over thinker and very different .I was extremely stubborn and I didn’t have a care in the world. I was older in sprit than I was in age. I call it an "old soul". I was giving advice and helping people everyday. My friends would come to me for my analization. I would help them to stay focused and motivated. I had perfect attendance as well as academic excellence. So then it had me thinking to my self "Who can I go to help me with my situations". Therefore I came to myself. As I went throughout elementary school and high school I was preferred to as the "mother" out of the friends circle. It helped and sculptured me to observe the world around me.  I now realize that Education and guiding the upcoming youth is my passion. Without passion in what you want to do as a career, you might as well not have a career at all. I love, live and breathe leadership. Helping people is what I love best! In my future I want to travel all over the world to help others. I have written a short brief letter that will provide you with information pertainint to where i see my self career wise. My First Passion.

From I since I could remember I always loved to sing when I was younger. In the second grade my teacher heard me sing and since then in school I have been in chior. My influences were Whitney Houston and Etta James coming up. All my life I 've loved to sing. My grandmother always told me that I caould sing. She is my inspiration. I was always told that my voice was very powerful. Now, at Rider University I am in the Gospel Chior along with other clubs and orgs.Singing is my inspiration and my passion. I love to sing. Its what I live for. I am very religious and I am thankful that I was blessed to have the voice that I have. At Rider University on December 11, 2008 we are performing located in th Cavalla Room located in the BLC. This year our school's holiday theme id The Celebration Of The Lights"We will be singing "Let There BE Peace" and I have a solo! So please come by and support.

Public Speaker.

I took a course on Public Speaking intiled Speech Communicatyion and during the course we had to present speechs. We presented a persuasive speech, entertainment speech, and a informative speech.Speech Coomunication not only helped me to over come my fear of public speaking but allowed me to see what I did wrong each time and have the critism I needed to improve where I lacked.

My Academic Life.

Since the very beginning I have always been determined. I remember when I recieved straight "A"'s in second grade. Since then I have been either on the "A" and "B" honor roll or straight "B" honor roll. I was awarded the reciepant of the year award in second grade and I attended my first banquet award ceremony in second grade as well. Just about every year I went. In the seventh grade I was awarded a music award, for doing an outstanding job in my chior. Since then that has been my encouragement to strive and move on. Each day I self encourage myself to do better at everything that i do. My grandfather always told me"Quanda never give up and no great at everything that you do". My Academic life has been the highlight of my life. i always loved to read and write. With the knowledge that I was taught I teach it to others younger than I am. i am not only a leader but a role model as well. So at all times I want to make the young leaders proud to lookup to me.

Community Service:Rescue Mission

During the EOP (Educational Opporitunity Program) at Rider University I completed a day of community service. The activities included taking a ton f chairs down to be washed and dryed. The second task was loading them from one location to another. Finally taking all of the clean chairs onto a truck to be used at a pincnic for the homeless.Aftrer doing doing community service it changed my life. It was a very humbling experience. It not only helped me to become a leader but to also value the small things in life.

As we are coming to the end of my blog, I hope that you got a more better perspective about who I am. I included my passion, my personalility and my future aspirations and goals. Futhermore i not only created this blog to show who I am as a person but to also expand my horizons in future job positions who will well work with my talents.
I am very detemined as I have mention earlier as well as passionate about my life and making the right decisions for my future. I make sure that every task that I complete is cpmplted in fullfilment. My life has shaped me into the woman that I am today. I have learned from my mistakes and I make each day of my life count. I love to help others and give back to my community as much as I can.
